Flora Mystica is a small-scale local flower farm growing seasonal cut flowers for our community. Our garden plot is nestled among the beautiful eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains on the historic Copithorne family ranch. We are committed to connecting community to the natural world through the magic of flowers. Our priority is to cultivate flowers in a way that honours the land and the natural rhythms of the seasons.
Flowers are more than something beautiful to look at. They invite us to reconnect with nature and help us to notice the beauty and meaning of everyday life. Flora Mystica offers our community locally grown, seasonal flowers as an alternative to imported blooms. We are committed to ethical and sustainable farming practices and to respect the land where we farm, ensuring a bright future for the generations that follow us. Through our flowers, events, and community offerings, we hope to share the magic of plants and flowers and honour the beautiful place where they grow.

Our Offerings
Fresh Cut Flowers
Flora Mystica operates a seasonal cut flower farm in the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta. We are conveniently located just west of Calgary and south of Cochrane. Our flowers are ethically grown using sustainable methods that provide a fantastic alternative to imported blooms.
Flora Mystica’s flowers are grown from seeds, bulbs, corms, or tubers right here on the farm. We hand select and cut the best quality blooms from an amazing variety of colours and flower species that you won’t find at a traditional florist or the grocery store!
Flower Essences
In addition to their beauty, flowers offer us wisdom and healing! Our Flower Essence blends are inspired by the flowers we grow on the farm, as well as the local wildflowers that surround us.
Flower Essences are made by imprinting the energetic signature of flowers into an elixir. These essences are gentle energy medicine that work within the layers of the emotional body to help bring into balance any negative thoughts, emotions, habits, etc. Each plant and flower have profound healing potential and wisdom.
Sound Healing
Join us for a relaxing and expansive journey using the healing power of sound. Sacred sound benefits body, mind, spirit, and soul as it uniquely heals each participant. Sound can help us to unlock deep layers within ourselves that need healing and clearing. It shifts and balances our frequencies helping to facilitate personal growth and expand consciousness.
During this sound experience you will further activate and amplify the experience with breathwork and a guided meditation. The small gathering of participants in a cozy and welcoming sacred space makes for a personalized experience.

More about our farm
Hi everyone, we’re Pauline and Ryan, the husband-and-wife team behind Flora Mystica. Welcome to our farm! The Flora Mystica flower farm garden plot sits on the Copithorne family ranch, just west of Calgary, Alberta in the community of Springbank. Pauline is the fifth generation of her family to raise plants and animals on this land and she and Ryan take pride in being stewards of this beautiful place.
